Effective date: August 4, 2026. This notice explains what the Cannabis Vaping Habits Study (“the study,” “we”) collects, how we use it, and your choices. Participation is voluntary.
Who runs this study
This study is conducted by an independent product-research team in the United States. For any question about your information or this notice, contact research@floatingtumbleweed.com.
What we collect
- Eligibility survey responses you submit through Microsoft Forms (for example, age range, state, and how you use cannabis vape products).
- Contact details you provide, such as your email address and interview availability.
- Interview notes if you are selected and take part in an interview.
Please do not include your legal name, medical information, or other people’s names in your responses.
How we use it
- To determine eligibility and schedule interviews.
- To conduct and analyze the research.
- To send compensation after a completed interview.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Services we use
- Microsoft Forms hosts the eligibility survey and stores your responses. This site does not collect data itself.
- Zoom or telephone is used for interviews. Interviews are not recorded unless you are told in advance and agree.
These providers handle your information under their own privacy terms.
How long we keep it
We keep responses and interview notes only as long as needed for the research, up to 12 months, and then delete or de-identify them. Contact information for people who are not selected is deleted after recruiting closes.
Your choices
- Participation is voluntary; you may decline or stop at any time.
- You may ask us to delete your information by emailing research@floatingtumbleweed.com.
- You may skip any question you don’t want to answer.
Age
This study is for adults 21 years of age or older. Please do not participate if you are under 21.
Not medical advice
This is consumer research. We make no health claims and provide no medical, legal, or treatment advice.
